These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Melofy music-quiz app. By using Melofy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Using Melofy

Melofy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You may play as a guest or register an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Provide accurate information and choose a display name that is not offensive or infringing.
You may delete your account at any time — see the Account & Data Deletion page.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Cheat, exploit, or interfere with the game, its scoring, or other players;
Attempt to access the app's systems or data without authorization;
Use the app to break the law or infringe others' rights;
Upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content (e.g. as an avatar or display name).

4. Music & third-party content

Music preview clips and artist information are provided by third parties, including Deezer. That content belongs to its respective owners and is subject to those parties' terms. Melofy claims no ownership of it.

5. Disclaimers

Melofy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melofy and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

7. Termination

You may stop using Melofy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or harms other users or the service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
